The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry held the 3rd meeting of the 16th session of Board of Directors, at the Chamber's headquarters, chaired by Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the SCCI.
The council discussed several issues, most notably approving the Chamber's budget for 2023, maintaining business growth and prosperity, in addition to working on enhancing the Chamber's institutional performance by implementing training and qualification programmes for employees to ensure quality and excellence in services.
The meeting discussed the projects and initiatives implemented in 2022, which was compatible with all performance indicators, achieving its local and international goals, which contributed to strengthening the position of Sharjah as a distinctive investment destination.
The latest projects and initiatives that are being implemented were reviewed during the meeting.
Al Owais indicated that Sharjah Chamber is moving forward to achieve its goals and strategy that enhance the economic development of Sharjah, under the wise guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the follow-ups of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Deputy Crown Prince Ruler of Sharjah.
Al Owais affirmed the determination of the Chamber to double the efforts, implement development projects, in addition to applying the innovative approach in enhancing cooperation with various government departments and institutions, which enhances the quality of services, which enhances the efforts of the Chamber aimed at achieving an effective contribution in supporting the objectives of the strategy "We Are the UAE 2031", achieving UAE's economic leadership by “UAE Centennial 2071”.
