Sharjah24: The Chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, Jassim Khalid Al Midfa, has confirmed that the Formula 1 semi-finals will take place on December 16 and the World Championship will take place on December 18 during the 21st edition of the Sharjah World Championships Week.
He told Sharjah 24 that the world's best speedboat racers and jet ski racers are leading the field at this major event, and that the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Sharjah are keen to highlight their tourism and sports offerings as well as the remarkable infrastructure and rapid growth in the region.
He expressed gratitude to His Highness, the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Sharjah, for his generous sponsorship of this significant event, as well as to the many organisations and individuals who contribute to the success of championships and events held in the Emirate of Sharjah.
