Blast kills at least one, wounds 7 in Pakistan’s mall blast

Sharjah 24 – KUNA: At least one person was killed and seven others sustained injuries in a blast outside a shopping mall in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province on Saturday, said officials.
According to a senior police official Ali Akbar, initial investigations show that the blast was caused by an improvised explosive device (IED).

He confirmed that one person lost his life and seven others, including a woman and children, were injured when the IED went off outside a shopping mall in Balochistan's Awaran district.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo in a statement issued immediately after the blast, condemned the incident and extended condolences for the deceased. He directed the authorities to provide the best medical treatment to the injured.
