Dust storms, thunderstorms, and rainfall cause widespread damage

The severe conditions included dust storms, thunderstorms, and heavy rainfall, contributing to injuries, fatalities, and infrastructure damage across the region.

More storms forecasted across Pakistan

According to the Pakistani Meteorological Department, thunderstorms and even snowstorms are expected to continue in the coming days. Affected areas include the capital Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the Pothwar region, as well as parts of Punjab and Balochistan.
