"we were honoured today by the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, and his inauguration of the Sharjah Events Festival," Tariq Allay said, during an interview with "Sharjah 24".
Allay confirmed that the festival offers a variety of entertainment and cultural shows.
He pointed out that more than 30 government entities are participating in the festival, which is an opportunity to learn about this year's events, as well as next year's.
Allay stated that on Saturday, the "Tariqan" family (Tariq Al Arabi and Sons) will perform in a concert, reviving childhood memories with a collection of songs from old cartoon series, aired on "Spacetoon".
