Sharjah24: On Tuesday, November 29, the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) hosted a prestigious celebration at its headquarters to mark the 51st United Arab Emirates National Day. His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, the Council's Chairman attended the celebration as well as department heads, directors of departments, and staff members .
The celebration began with the UAE’s national anthem and featured a number of amazing performances on the occasion. His Excellency Issa Hilal delivered a speech in which he emphasized the significance and value of the National Day, explaining the concepts of loyalty, gratitude, and devotion to the nation . The event also commemorates the contributions made by the rulers of the Emirates and members of the Supreme Council, who placed the nation's founding stones.
The celebration performances included concerts by schoolchildren, in addition to a competition for the Council's employees in the historical information of the UAE.
