Sharjah24: Based on the generous directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club (SERC) ,in cooperation with the Emirates Horse Racing Authority, organises the 2nd race of the Sharjah Longines track for the season 2022/2023 Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Cup Race, on Sunday, November 27, at 2:15 PM.
The race is supported by the Sharjah Sports Council and the media sponsor, Sharjah Sports Channel, and is sponsored by Longines, the official sponsor of the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club's 2022/2023 racing season, at the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, and the United Arab Emirates' main contributor to covering equestrian events.
The race is held with a strong participation of purebred Arabian horses, local production horses, and purebred hybrid horses, with a total of 88 horses, with 11 horses in reserve. The race consists of six runs for various distances and levels.
