Sharjah24: The Old People Home in Sharjah received a medical team from the Specialised Dental Center in Sharjah, where the center provided comprehensive dental health check-ups for the members of the home, whose ages ranged from 60 years and over.
On the occasion, Maryam Al-Qatari, Director of the Home, said that the visit comes on the occasion of the celebration of World Diabetes Day, highlighting the importance of conducting regular dental checkups for the elderly. She has lauded the efforts of the visiting medical team in providing the necessary medical care for the elderly, praising their efforts in ensuring to conduct the follow-up tests for those who need it.
She has further stressed that the medical tests are conducted constantly in the Old People Home, adding that there are two specislised doctors who conduct regular follow up, according to the elderly’s health status.
