Sharjah 24 – WAM: Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, congratulated Tobias Billström on assuming his new position as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden.

During a phone call, Sheikh Abdullah extended his best wishes to the new Swedish foreign minister, stressing his keenness to enhance the bilateral ties between the UAE and Sweden to advance the mutual interests of both countries and their people.

The two sides also discussed a number of issues of mutual concern, and the available opportunities to develop prospects of UAE-Swedish cooperation.

They also exchanged their views on the latest regional and international developments.
