Sharjah24: Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA), revealed that a number of indicators , marketing and strategic plans for the upcoming term had been reviewed during the hotel and hospitality industry annual meeting with SCTDA partners.
He added to “Sharjah 24” that joint cooperation with SCTDA's partners in the private sector is significant to achieve the basic strategic goals set by the Sharjah Government and the Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, and we hope to achieve these goals through this fruitful cooperation.
Al Midfa emphasised that the Emirate of Sharjah is growing in many fields , including the tourism industry, where the number of hotel guests increased during the first nine months of this year compared to the same period last year at a rate of 12%. We, as the authority, offer ongoing support to those working in the tourism industry.
