NAMA Foundation for the Advancement of Women organised a panel discussion themed "Women in the Work Environment: Developing a Roadmap for Gender Equality" at the House of Wisdom in Sharjah. This is the second session of the "Irtiqa" network, which endeavours to advance women and make her a tangible reality.
The session sheds light on the challenges associated with the integration of women in the workplace and sharing best practices to create a supportive environment for them.
In this context, Director of NAMA, said “We are very excited today at NAMA Women Advancement Establishment to be hosting our second Irtiqa Networking event.”
“Today’s main focus is the private sector and how we at NAMA believe that we are able to close the gender gap by partnering with the private sector. Nama always aims to support woman economically and socially, and hopefully by our new partnerships with the private sector we can accomplish this and be part of a flourishing society by having equal access to decision-making and creating opportunities rather than just being in support roles,"
BinKaram added.
“Despite how far we’ve come, there is still a lot to do, and that is why we are always looking for partnerships and collaborations. So, I hope we do achieve this and we wish the UAE all the best, “
BinKaram concluded.
