Sharjah24: To highlight the positive role of social media platforms, the 41st Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF 2022) will host a distinguished group of influencers and experts during the 12-day cultural extravaganza, which runs under the theme ‘Spread the Word’ from November 2 – 13, 2022, at Expo Centre Sharjah.
At SIBF 2022, visitors will have the unique opportunity of meeting prominent influencers who will share their experiences and views on the integral role of social media platforms in societal and cultural development.
30 workshops at the Social Media Station
A total of 30 workshops at SIBFs popular Social Media Station, presented by 10 experts from seven countries, will cover diverse topics including social media strategies, creative content, and more. Notable guests leading the activities this year include Dr. Khaled Ghattas, Eman Sobhy, Radwa El Sherbiny, Tareq Al Harbi, and many more.
Eman Sobhy
Eman Sobhy, the content creator of the ‘What if?’ series on YouTube, is one of the most notable young influencers in the region. Having previously worked in marketing and journalism, Sobhy is known for her passion for photography and media. The Egyptian influencer will broadcast a new episode of ‘What if?’ on Thursday, November 3, at 5pm during SIBF 2022.
Tareq Al Harbi
A social media icon from Saudi Arabia, Tareq Al Harbi started his career with the ‘Your Safety’ awareness programme and has performed in a number of television and theatrical productions. Al Harbi, who presented the popular ‘Tariq Show’ on the Rotana Khalejia channel which received more than 230 million views on YouTube and 1.2 billion views on Snapchat, will tour SIBF at 5pm on Thursday, November 3, to meet his followers, fans and SIBF visitors.
Radwa El Sherbiny
Egyptian television presenter Radwa El Sherbiny, who has an expansive presence on social media presents several TV programmes and works for the Arab TV network. She rose to fame through the popular Heya wi Bas show on the CBC network. At SIBF 2022, El Sherbiny will be on the panel of speakers in a special discussion on Sunday, November 6, at 8:30 pm.
Dr. Khaled Ghattas
Lebanon’s Dr. Khaled Ghattas attracted millions of followers on his YouTube channel thanks to his motivational work and capacity to persuade and humorously give advice to viewers. He capitalises on his knowledge of human behaviour to inspire people and spread positivity. At SIBF 2022, Dr. Ghattas will speak at a panel discussion hosted on November 11 at 4pm in the main hall of Expo Centre Sharjah.
