Sharjah 24 – WAM: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and Chairman of Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation Board of Trustees, has dedicated winning of the first place in the Erfoud Date Festival in Morocco to Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, in recognition of his support to the palm cultivation and date production sector at the national, regional and international levels.

He said that this win is a result of the great efforts made by the UAE, led by the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the development of the date palm sector at the national, regional and global levels.

Sheikh Nahyan made the remarks during a press conference, following the announcement of the UAE pavilion winning of the first place among the participating countries in the 11th Erfoud Date Festival in the Kingdom of Morocco, yesterday in the presence of several Moroccan officials.

The date festival is being held at Erfourd city in Morocco from 27th to 30th October under the patronage of King Mohammed VI of Morocco.
