Sharjah 24 – WAM: Al Ain Book Festival 2022 held special celebrations to mark Oman's 52nd National Day, which marked annualy on 18th November.
The celebrations underscore the deep-rooted brotherly ties between the UAE and Oman.
The celebrations featured a number of entertainment and cultural events including traditional folk dance performances from the UAE and Oman and distribution of the Omani flag to festival's visitors.
Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium has lit up with colours of Oman's flag.
The Festival is organised by Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC), part of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), as part of its mission to preserve and promote the Arabic language and Emirati culture, with a renewed focus on Al Ain as a cultural and creative hub for the region.
