Sharjah 24: The Organising Committee of the Kalba Beach Games, in its meeting chaired by Abdul Malik Mohammed Jani, Vice Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, approved the games for the second edition of the event, which will be held from 12 to 18 November.
The committee also opened registration for participats in its competitions until the fifth of next November. The date of the official opening ceremony was set for Friday, November 11.
During the meeting, the daily programme of the tournament’s competitions and accompanying events were approved. The committee also reviewed the reports of the media, security, marketing, public relations and support services committees, and the logistical equipment for the venue of the event on Kalba Beach.
The Chairman of the Organising Committee confirmed that work is taking place around the clock for the second edition, which had all guarantees of success thanks to the generous patronage of Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. He added that the details of the event will be revealed in an expanded press conference.
