The competitions included many activities and events, whereas the beach was the scene of the cubs parades and Cross Fit competitions; the sea was the field for many exciting marine shows of fly, motosurf and waterbikes, while the parachutes filled the sky east and west with banners displaying the picture His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the UAE flag, and the Games’ logo marked with the number “7”.

Kalba Beach Games 2021, held under the patronage of Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, is to conclude on Saturday on Kalba Beach, where the winners will be crowned, and institutions and companies that contributed to the support and organisation will be honoured.

Kalba Beach Games 2021 kicked off on November 11, and included 7 games, with prizes totaling half a million dirhams.

Abdul Malik Jani, Vice Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council and Chairman of the Organising Committee for the session, expressed his happiness that the event saw a great turnout from the audience, which was mostly families, which means that competitive and recreational activities have attracted all family members, especially children.

He added that what pleased him the most was the teams’ passion while participating in the tournament, and enthusiasm was present all the time, which will encourage organisers in the future to increase official games and accompanying events.

Abdul Malik Jani concluded by thanking the institutions and companies that contributed to the organisation and preparation of this community sports event, stressing that success would not have been achieved without the team spirit.
