Sharjah24: Suhaila Al Balushi, the shooting team official at the Sharjah Women's Sports Club, reported the launch of the Women's Open Shooting Tournament organised by the club, in which 33 players participated.
Al Balushi added, during exclusive statements to “Sharjah 24”, that the tournament aims to spread the culture of shooting sports among women, in addition to attracting new talents for the game.
She indicated that the weapon used in the tournament is the 10m air rifle with the saddle position, and the tournament system consisted of 5 test shots, and 20 counted rounds.
At the end of her speech, Al Balushi thanked and appreciated all the participants and congratulated the winners of the first places, as well as all the organisers and participants in the success of this tournament.
