Sharjah24: The Central Region Police Department organised an awareness seminar on traffic safety targeting high school students. The seminar was organised by the Parents Council in Al Dhaid with the aim of enhancing traffic awareness and highlighting the most prominent violations and erroneous behaviors committed by some motorists.

The seminar was moderated by Captain Ahmed Al Lughai, Director of Drivers Licensing and Driving Education Branch at the Central Region Police Department, where he explained how to apply for the service of opening a vehicle’s driver’s license file through the application of the Ministry of Interior (MOI), and the consequent conditions.

He also talked about the violation of being busy on the road while driving a vehicle in any way, such as using a mobile phone, indicating that busyness without the road has become a great danger to road users, as it is one of the main causes of many accidents that result in deaths and severe injuries.
