Sharjah 24: Sharjah is all set to host an exceptional musical evening headlined by Egyptian artist Hamza Namira and the ‘Rouh al Sharq’ (Spirit of the East) choir on Saturday, November 19 at Al Majaz Amphitheatre.

The iconic Al Majaz Amphitheatre since its opening has hosted some of the biggest Arab and international superstars and world-class theatrical performances and community events that have won the approval of the audiences from across the Emirate and the UAE.

Hamza Namira, the young and popular Egyptian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, is known for his soulful voice that touches the heart and mind, will present a bouquet of his most popular songs that have earned him wide following across the Arab world. “Fadi Shwayya”, “Dahr Ya Albi”, and “Mawlood Sanet 80 are some of these chartbusters.

Hamza demonstrated his keen interest and musical aptitude at an early age, learning music, singing and experimenting with all contemporary genres in Egypt. He has headlined countless concerts and performances throughout his remarkable career, constantly refining his musical prowess and singing.

Excited to be performing for the first time at Al Majaz Amphitheatre in Sharjah, Hamza said: “I am looking forward to my debut concert at Al Majaz Amphitheatre. I have heard a great deal about its distinguished musical evenings in recent months and years, hosting some of the greatest artists. I am pleased to bring to the Sharjah audience some of the songs that the audiences everywhere have loved.”

As part of its continuing efforts to celebrate the cultural traditions of the Emirate and support outstanding talents, the Al Majaz Amphitheatre is hosting for the first time the Rouh al Sharq (Spirit of the East) choir, which features a diverse group of amazing talents mixing originality with contemporary trends in a bouquet of songs.

The Rouh Al Sharq choir is known for creating exceptional music with human vocals and without the help and use of any musical instruments. As a result of their special performance and excellence of artistic talents, the choir has earned applause and fame across the Arab world.
