Sharjah24: Visitors at the 9th Sharjah International Film Festival for Children and Youth (SIFF) were in for a stunning surprise yesterday evening when lights at the festival venue first dimmed and went off at 9pm, and haze and fog began to blanket the main stage at Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre, Sharjah.
To the delight of young and old visitors, superhero Iron Man emerged from the thick cover of smoke in an armoured suit and sporting a laser glove that led to joyful screams from the young ones in the audience.
Children watched mesmerised as the action hero showed off his impressive dance moves with colourful laser beams that cut through the smoke, creating a fantastic light show for the SIFF audience.
Following the electrifying performance, visitors lined up to take pictures with the superhero.
The SIFF venue transforms each evening into a spectacle of music, talent shows and colourful characters, in addition to its fascinating selection of movies from around the world.
