The campaign included free breast examinations to employees of the Pink Caravan mobile medical clinic and included a session presented by the Pink Caravan’s medical staff, where they discussed methods of diagnosing breast cancer, conducting a breast self-examination, and the importance of early detection to prevent the disease. Additionally, advice on the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle was provided, which reduces the overall incidence of breast and other types of cancer. This advice included eating a healthy diet, maintaining an ideal weight, and exercising regularly; employee inquiries about the disease were answered, with an emphasis placed on the need to continue early screening.
