Sharjah24: Al Bustan Suburb Council (ABSC) of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs in the Government of Sharjah organised at its headquarters in Al Dhaid the first consultative forum for government departments and institutions in Al Dhaid, aiming of shedding light on the various services provided by those departments to serve the residents and citizens.
A number of officials from different government departments were invited to attend this meeting, in the presence of Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, member of Sharjah Executive Council and head of the Suburbs and Villages Affairs Department.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Muhammad Abdullah bin Huwaiden, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Al Dhaid City, Ali Saif Al Nadas Al Ketbi, member of the Sharjah Consultative Council, Rashid Abdullah Al Mahyan, Chairman of the Parents Council for Male and Female Students in the Central Region, Saeed Matar bin Dalmouk from Al Dhaid Municipality, Colonel Ahmed Al Zaabi, Director of Central Region Police, and Engineer Saud Muhammad from the Department of Planning and Survey, Muhammad Obaid bin Matar Al Tunaiji from the Department of Agriculture and Livestock Resources, and Sultan Matar Dalmouk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Holy Quran Foundation.
From Al Bustan Suburb Council, the attendees were Dr. Salem Zayed Al-Tunaiji, Chairman of the Council, Dr. Ali Salem Al-Tunaiji, vice-chairman, and a number of council members, a group of invitees and the people of the area.
At the beginning of the first consultative forum for government departments and institutions in Al Dhaid, Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi stressed that the meeting reflects a qualitative initiative of the Al-Bustan Suburb Council, highlighting the Council’s keenness to support meetings with officials in all branches of government departments.
Dr. Salem Zayed Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Al-Bustan District Council, welcomed the attendance and participation of government departments in the forum, pointing out that the forum aims to establish a local dialogue that would enhance the positive relationship between the government departments’ branches in Al Dhaid , as well as discussing the latest approaches and perceptions in order to access various services.
The officials of the various government departments shed lights on the implemented projects and initiatives that will be carried out to serve the city of Al Dhaid, lauding the support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in addition to the follow-up bySheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council.
The Al-Bustan District Council also presented its initiative at the end of the consultative forum, launching the “Ain Al Majlis” initiative to serve the people of Al-Bustan neighborhood. The attendees congratulated this initiative, praising its importance and role in enhancing the various services provided for the development of the city of Al Dhaid and working to create opportunities that promote the quality of life for all segments of society in the city.
