Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) received, Monday, a high-level delegation from the European Women's Association, represented by a trade mission from Belgium, Britain and Romania consisting of a group of businesswomen in several sectors of importance such as commercial services, health care, information technology, financial technology, education and legal services.
Her Excellency Raghda Hamad Imran Tarim, Member of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Her Excellency Maryam Rashid bin Al Sheikh, Director of the Sharjah Women's Business Council, and Fatima Khalifa, Director of the International Relations Department at Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), received the delegation.
Her Excellency Yulia Stark, President of the European Women's Association, headed the delegation. The two sides discussed aspects of cooperation to enhance efforts made in serving the women's business sector and find initiatives and programmes that double its contributions to the local economy, in addition to encouraging discussions and supporting follow-up visits between the two sides.
