The chamber said that the meeting comes in line with its ongoing efforts to develop business services delivered to the private sector, enhance the attractiveness of Sharjah’s business environment and bolster the competitiveness of the emirate's economy.
Held at the SCCI’s headquarters, the meeting was attended by Abdulaziz Shattaf, Assistant Director-General of the Communication and Business Sector, Amjad Awad al Karim, Head of the Sectoral Business Groups Department, Fatima Al Shehhi, Senior Executive, Sectoral Business Groups Department, Hadef Al Tunaiji, permanent member of the Sectoral Business Group Department representing the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority.
Abdulaziz Shattaf has lauded SEWA’s outstanding efforts and keenness to respond to the growing demands of the private sector, adding that the authority’s forward-looking plans and programs will certainly help deliver services of top-notch quality for all sectors in Sharjah. Such programs and plans will not only improve SEWA’s performance, but will also reflect positively on the Emirate’s economy while also promoting the contribution of all commercial and industrial activities to the emirate’s economy, thus supporting Sharjah’s comprehensive development.
For his part, Hadef Al Tunaiji stressed that SEWA pays utmost attention to the requirements, suggestions, and feedback of all private sector partners in order to develop innovative initiatives and service programs that will ensure their happiness and exceed their expectations.
He stressed that all recommendations made by the Sectoral Business Groups will be considered and necessary measures will be taken accordingly by concerned departments.
