Sharjah24: Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators is launching its parliamentary session for the “Sharjah Children Parliament” and “Sharjah Youth Parliament” councils, which coincides with the celebration of the silver jubilee of parliamentary work in its institutions.
A quarter of a century seeks, through the Parliament approach, to promote a set of values in the hearts of its members, foremost among which are loyalty, belonging, citizenship, respect for opinion and other opinion, participation and influence, to enable them to lead the future, translating the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, whose laid the foundation was built a quarter of a century ago in 1997.
Sharjah Children Parliament is being held in its seventeenth year, while the " Sharjah Youth Parliament " is being held in its eighth year, both under the slogan "A quarter century of excellence in parliamentary work".
The Two parliament aim to prepare and empower national cadres capable of making a positive change in society, through constructive dialogue, the development of general culture and the basis for discussing ideas and issues.
Rubu’ Qarn Foundation targets members of Sharjah children in the age group from 8 to 11 years in the Sharjah Children Parliament, and affiliates of Sharjah Youth and Sajaya Girls in the age group of 13 to 16 years in Sharjah Youth Parliament.
