Saudi Supreme Court: Saturday to be first day of Muharram 1444 AH

Sharjah 24 – SPA: The Supreme Court announced Thursday that Saturday will be the first day of the month of Muharram for 1444 Hijri, according to Umm al-Qura calendar, corresponding to July 30 2022.

The Supreme Court stated that the crescent of the month of Muharram had not been sighted today, Thursday, meaning that tomorrow, Friday will be the completion of the month of Dhul-Hijjah 1443 Hijri according to Umm al-Qura calendar, corresponding to July 29, 2022.
