Sharjah 24 – SPA: The Saudi Crescent Moon Sighting Department of the Supreme Court announced Friday that Sunday is the first day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah, according to the calendar of Umm al-Qura - corresponding to July 11, 2021 AD as the crescent of the month of Dhu Al-Hijjah was not sighted on Friday evening.

Based on this, Saturday will complete the month 30 days to be 30/11/1442 AH according to the Umm al-Qura calendar - corresponding to 10/7/2021 AD.

It decided that standing at Arafat shall be on Monday, the 9th the month of Dhu al-Hijjah for this Year 1442 AH, corresponding to July 19/2021 AD, and the blessed Eid al-Adha shall be on the following day, on Tuesday.
