Sharjah24: His Excellency Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, honored a number of influencers and social media activists this morning, Tuesday at the headquarters, for their prominent role in covering the activities of the interactive awareness platform "Be Aware" that was held at City Center Al Zahia during the period from 21 to 25 July to raise awareness of fraud and electronic blackmail.
His Excellency the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police praised the positive role they played in spreading awareness about cybercrime, and explaining its risks that ensure their protection from fraud, fraud and extortion in all its forms, explaining that influencers have an important role in achieving social responsibility.
Lieutenant-Colonel Mohammed Butti Al-Hajri, Deputy Director of the Media and Public Relations Department, said that the platform launched the campaign yesterday, Monday, at the Al Zahia City Center, while the campaign continues on the social media platforms of the Sharjah Police until the tenth of next August, noting that the awareness platform has received about 4,400 person over five days.
