Sharjah 24: His Excellency Abdul Malik Jani, Vice-Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, confirmed that the Emirate of Sharjah has become a distinguished destination for organising the most prestigious sports events, whether local or international.
His Excellency added that this especially true with the holding of the Jiu-Jitsu Sharjah Festival, which has great participation from various countries of the world, and is organised for the first time in the Emirate of Sharjah.
In statements to “Sharjah 24”, His Excellency thanked His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for the unlimited support towards sports in the Emirate, stressing the keenness of the Sharjah Sports Council to provide all the necessary means for holding such local and international events.
Concluding his statement, His Excellency thanked the organising committee and the employees of the Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club. He also thanked all media outlets for their efforts towards covering various sports events.
