The external camp will be in Austria after the approval of the club’s delegate on the facilities that will host the camp, including hotels, training grounds and halls.
It was decided that the external camp period will be in two phases for a period of 30 days, including 6 various friendly matches, with 3 matches in each phase, after which the team returns to the country to complete the last phase of the camp and perform a final friendly match before entering the new season’s competitions.
It was also decided that the initial gathering of the players, in order to conduct the annual medical examination, starting on July 4 at the University Hospital in Sharjah, the sponsor of the first team and the medical partner of the club, followed by a short period of internal training in Sharjah before the team’s mission leaves for Austria.
The city of Bad Waltersdorf, located 110 km south of the Austrian capital Vienna, will host the first period of the outdoor camp, which will start on July 18 until August 1, during which the team will play 3 friendly matches to be scheduled later, while the third phase of the team's preparations for the new season will begin on the fourth of August, in which the team will move to Bad Luibersdorf, where the training programme continues with the performance of three other friendly matches, to conclude the outdoor camp period on August 17th with the team's return to the country to complete the fourth and final stage of preparation.
The technical staff is scheduled to give the players 3 days of rest after returning from Austria before the start of the fourth stage, provided that training will resume at Sharjah Stadium starting from August 21. It was agreed that the team will play its last friendly matches at Sharjah Stadium on August 25, after which the training will continue until the start of the official competitions of the UAE Pro League on 2 and 3 December.
