The club stated that the contract with the new coach was based on a recommendation submitted by the technical committee headed by Mohammed Abdullah Al Zaabi, coach Issa Busim and technical advisor Adel Mohammed.
The club confirmed that coach Majidi has been under the microscope of the technical committee since last March concerning his following up on his team's results and technical performance.
Issa bin Howiden, the media spokesman for the Kalba Football Club, confirmed that coach Farhad Majidi has a distinguished record, in addition to his prior knowledge of the UAE Professional League.
He added: “In the coming days, we will announce the names of some foreign players whose names are on the table of the technical committee for consideration.”
