Sharjah 24: Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah has mourned the death of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who passed away Friday morning, May, 13, 2022.

In his statement, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed said: ““A sad day passes by for the United Arab Emirates with the departure of its leader, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may Allah have mercy on him, who left great imprints on not only the level of the nation but also the entire world, with his wisdom, dream and keen interest in the country and the citizens.

“A developmental march full of achievements and giving in all the responsibilities he had assumed. Under his leadership, the UAE witnessed a lot of good and successive achievements, a cultural, urban, social and economic renaissance.

May Allah the Almighty have mercy on our father, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may he rest in eternal peace in Paradise, and grant us and the leadership and people of the UAE and the peoples of the Arab and Islamic worlds patience and solace.”
