Aisha Ghabish, Director of Events and Activities Department at the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, confirmed the launch of the "World Heritage Day", where the events are held in the Heritage Square in the Heart of Sharjah with the participation of several countries and government agencies delivering various activities.
In exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", Aisha Ghabish stated that this year, folk games were picked and highlighted as a legacy that must be preserved for future generations. Several countries participate in the occasion, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, and other Arab countries, where five people from each country participate in popular group games.
She added that there are countries participating in presenting family products, popular fashion and hospitality, and many local products for each country.
