Sharjah24: The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in Sharjah, on Thursday organised, a social event, entitled "Ramadan brings us together"; for people with disabilities from Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS) and Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled. The event witnessed the participation of a crowd of officials and representatives of government institutions and departments. Yousef Yaqoub Al Mansouri, Director of the Office of the Chairman of the Academy's Board of Trustees, said that the event targeted the affiliates of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services and Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled, with the aim of enhancing the social integration of the people with disabilities.
He explained that the event included many recreational activities and attractive competitions.
Commenting on this, Al Mansouri praised the keenness of a number of government department officials to participate in the event that brought joy to their souls, led by His Excellency Dr. Rashid Al-Naqbi, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Khorfakkan City, Sultan Yaqoub Al-Mansoori, Director of the Emiri Diwan in Khorfakkan, and Dr. Ali Obaid Al-Zaabi, Deputy Assistant Rector of Khorfakkan University Sharjah Branches Affairs.
