Sharjah24: Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), paid a visit to a number of the heads and members of the board of the chamber over the last 50 years.
The initiative is coinciding with the celebrations of the Sharjah Chamber of its Golden Jubliee and comes in recognition of the contributions of the former heads and members to the SCCI journey throughout its history.

During the visit, Abdullah Sultan Al Owais handed the exclusive golden jubilee shield and certificate to H.E. Humaid bin Nasser Al Owais, Abdulrahman Bu Khater, H.E. Ali Marzouq bin Kamel, Rashid bin Ali Dimas Al Suwaidi, and Mahmoud Khairallah Al Hajji, in appreciation of their tireless efforts to foster Sharjah economy, and their role in establishing the Sharjah Chamber edifice, which forms the backbone of economic development in the Emirate.

Prominent figures
"This tribute is the least we can do for these prominent figures that laid the foundations and solid rules for the Sharjah Chamber and fostered its role in enhancing the emirate’s position on the local and global economy map, promoting the business sectors and serving the national economy, and enhancing the implementation of comprehensive economic and social development programs, in line with visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah," said Abdullah Al Owais.

Al Owais assured the former members that the current board of directors will always continue on the same path of success, and that it will spare no effort to continue the Chamber’s achievements and support business sectors and their various activities, in order to help the private sector achieve the economic vision of Sharjah and the UAE in general.
