Sharjah24 - WAM: Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Head of the Emirati Parliamentary Division Delegation at the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), met with Rachkov Sergey, Head of the Parliamentary Delegation of Belarus at the IPU, on the sidelines of the IPU’s 144th General Assembly meetings held in Bali, Indonesia.
During the meeting, the two sides highlighted the strong relations between the UAE and Belarus, noting that their diplomatic ties were established 30 years ago.
They then stressed the importance of boosting the parliamentary cooperation between the Federal National Council (FNC) and the parliament of Belarus, in line with the relations between the two countries.
They also discussed the topics listed on the agenda of the IPU’s meetings, as well as their importance to maintaining international security, peace and stability.
