Bu Naama: SHD presents cultural programs linking past with future

Sharjah24: Dr. Manne Bu Naama, Chairman of the Cultural Committee of Sharjah Heritage Days, stated that Sharjah Heritage Days (SHD) kicks off with several programmes, activities, events, and workshops, linking the heritage with the future.

In exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", Bu Naama confirmed that the SHD program hosts a group of academic researchers to discuss several educational and heritage issues registered on the UNESCO lists.

He added that this year's session offers several programs designed for children, such as the old school, giving an idea to children of how schools were in the past. It also presents cultural and heritage exhibitions, including the Columns Gallery and the" 50 Years of Sultan's Reign" exhibition. Also, several popular troupes from different parts of the world participate in the festival.
