The event seeks to promote local production, foster dependence on local resources, and highlight the role of Sharjah Co-operative Society in assisting local farmers by marketing their products at the branches and giving them priority in selling, marketing, and facilities.

The Society's CEO, Majid Salem Al Junaid, stated that,  "Through this forum, the society seeks to support citizen farmers by highlighting their efforts and assisting them in displaying their agricultural crops, thereby assisting them in selling and marketing, encouraging investment in food projects, and motivating entrepreneurs to support the agricultural sector, which contributes to the national economy."

The Sharjah Co-operative Society supports more than 80 farms nationwide, and 15 of them are represented at the forum.
