Sharjah Ruler signs MOU between Sharjah Government, Murcia Gov

Sharjah24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Antonio Zapata, Regional Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Environment, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), on Thursday morning, between the Government of Sharjah and the Government of the Spanish Territory of Murcia for cooperation in the areas of development and agricultural technology, exchanging information and experiences.

The signing took place in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
The two parties seek to exchange knowledge and experiences to raise performance efficiency following comprehensive quality standards and following the legally defined terms of reference for each and applicable in the country. Furthermore, it strengthens work and establishes cooperation in various scientific, administrative, technical, and research fields.
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between  Sharjah Asset Management and Sharjah Cooperative Society to support and market the crops of the greenhouse project through the Society's sales outlets located in all cities and regions of Sharjah.

The Memorandum was signed by Waleed Al Sayegh, CEO of Sharjah Asset Management, and Majid Salem Al Junaid, CEO of Sharjah Cooperative Society.

The signing was attended by Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Seaports, Customs and Free Zones Authority, Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development in Sharjah, and several senior officials, heads of departments, and representatives of Murcia.
