Upon His Highness's arrival on site, he unveiled the school's memorial plaque, which serves as a reminder of His Highness's unwavering commitment to quality education and the need to ensure that girls and boys of Sharjah can learn in accordance with the highest international scientific standards and that Sharjah's education system is distinct in every region of the Emirate.
His Highness was briefed on the school building's departments, which included the kindergarten, classrooms for the second through sixth grades, administrative facilities, the theatre, and various facilities for extra-curricular activities, sports, and entertainment, among others, and also the various development works that contribute to providing an appropriate educational atmosphere for school students at various stages, in a manner that achieves the school's mission.
He started off in the kindergarten and first-grade wing of the school, where he was shown the numerous tools and resources available to help pupils succeed in their studies.
His Highness was given a thorough overview of the kindergarten part, including modern classrooms, a library, and areas for children to run around and have fun.
In the second to sixth-grade classroom building, His Highness was briefed by officials about the classrooms and various amenities, including the library and the various activity spaces, that are available for students to take part in different activities. His Highness also checked up on some of the students' day-to-day activities.
At the conclusion of his tour, He was informed of the engineering plans for the different stages of the extension of the Victoria International School project in the Central Region, which will be completed and several additional branches of the school will be established in the Eastern Region.
The Governor of the Australian state of Victoria presented the Ruler of Sharjah with a commemorative shield.
The accomplishment of the "Victoria School" project in the central region, on the Sharjah-Mleiha highway, is in accordance with His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah's directives to provide distinguished educational institutions.
Specialized classrooms, knowledge resources, library halls, and technical and technological specialised halls are all part of the school's instructional infrastructure. Since the beginning of the current school year, it has been accepting students.
The school, which adds a qualitative addition to the Emirate of Sharjah's renowned educational record, accommodates approximately a thousand students and includes a set of facilities that meet the latest international standards on an area of one million and two hundred thousand square feet. With the diversity of its instructional approach and curriculum, the school adheres to the globally renowned Australian curriculum, which contributes to improving educational results and accomplishing the aims of graduating empowered generations capable of supporting sustainable growth.
Buildings for administration and health care are housed in the first building; 11 classrooms for pre-kindergarten through first grade are located on the lower level in the second building, which has a multifunctional yard and a library; and two covered outdoor playgrounds are located in the third building for kindergartens.
The third building houses a school for elementary and secondary education. On the ground level, there are 19 classrooms for grades 2–6, a multipurpose hall, and two science labs for students.
There is an amphitheatre for 420 persons, a stage space of 117 square meters, as well as prayer rooms for men and women in the fourth building.
Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Seaports, Customs and Free Zones Authority, Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development in Sharjah, and a number of other government department heads, officials, and educators attended the school's inauguration.
