Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Parents Council conducted a sports day in cooperation with the “Body and Soul Centre” aiming at educating mothers about the importance and Sharjah Parents Council of sports on a woman’s life and health, and raising health awareness with the participation of 20 parents.

The event was held under the slogan "For Your Health" to coincide with the International Women's Day, celebrated annually on the eighth of March. Following the end of the training session, the attendees took an inspection tour to get acquainted with the club's facilities. 

Parents expressed their happiness to participate in the event and extended thanks to Sharjah Parents Council.

At the end of the event, Salwa Jumaa, Head of the Activities and Events Committee of the Sharjah Parents Council, thanked the “Body and Soul Health Centre” and conveyed the greetings of the Council’s Chairman Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Mualla and the members of the Council to the centre.
Salwa Jumaa presented the council’s shield, which was received by the Director of the Centre Ghada Barakat, who expressed her happiness to cooperate with the council, and said that the centre is ready to hold more similar events in the future.
