Sharjah 24: A delegation from the Human Resources Department in Sharjah, headed by His Excellency Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim, Member of Sharjah Executive Council and Head of the Human Resources Department, visited the Civil Service Bureau in the Kingdom of Bahrain, with the aim of exchanging expertise and government administrative practices in the field of human resources and civil service.
The delegation of the Department of the Human Resources Department in Sharjah was received by His Excellency Ahmed bin Zayed Al Zayed, Chairman of the Civil Service Bureau, whereas the delegation reviewed the work mechanisms and the systems used for the most important administrative practices such as the government employee application, the electronic employment application, the government vacancies system, government quality system application, and the experience of dealing with the Corona pandemic, and others.
His Excellency Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, Head of the Human Resources Department, praised the development of the civil service programmes and projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain that improve the institutional performance of government agencies, and the quality of services provided to beneficiaries, in addition to the high level of techniques and programmes that regulate the work of human resources and connection with government agencies.
His Excellency Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem explained the role of the Human Resources Department in Sharjah in developing plans and strategies aimed at preparing leading national professionals to enter the labour market efficiently and competently, as well as its role in developing systems and legislation supporting human resources and striving to achieve job, family and social stability to ensure the improvement of government performance.
His Excellency Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem touched on the smart electronic transformation of the Human Resources Department and the methodology in managing programmes and projects. He also addressed the development programmes provided by the department to Sharjah government employees, as part of its commitment to developing human wealth by providing the human resource with skills and capabilities that meet the needs of the labour market and the fields of renewable and constantly changing jobs.
His Excellency Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem talked about the different career happiness initiatives offered by the department to government employees, most notably the "Waffer" programme providing discounts for Sharjah government employees.
