Sharjah24 - WAM: The European Union has denounced the terrorist attacks by the Houthi militia on the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
The statement was made during the 26th EU-GCC ministerial meeting held in Brussels, which was chaired by H.H. Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - as the presidency country in the current session of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf - and Josep Borrell, European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs.
The meeting also saw the participation of representatives of the Arab Gulf States, Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Mohammed Al Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, Abdullatif Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, Sultan Al Muraikhi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Khalifa Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman, and Mohammad Ismail Al Sahlawi, UAE Ambassador to Belgium, along with representatives and foreign ministers of the 27 member states of the European Union.
The meeting touched on issues of common interest and ways to further develop and advance relations between the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and the European Union in a number of areas of common interest.
