Sharjah 24: David Doubilet and Jennifer Hayes, underwater photographers are taking part in the sixth edition of the Xposure International Photography Festival, organised by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau and continues its run at Expo Centre Sharjah from 10am to 10pm until Tuesday, February 15, to exhibit photographs about sea animals and the dangers they are exposed to.
National Geographic Magazine photographer, David Doubilet, aims to connect people to the sea. He considers that making a picture that shows the air world and the water world is both a great challenge and a great joy.

For her part, Jennifer Hayes, an aquatic biologist and photojournalist focused on the endangered sea animals and the challenges they face, taking the sturgeon which produces the caviar as an example. In a panel discussion about the topic, Hayes addressed the dangers of climate change and ocean plastics as well as other issues which directly negatively affect sea animals, and discussed various solutions to face these dangers.

They both praised Xposure and its organisation, describing it as an amazing event.
