Sharjah 24: On the sidelines of the first-ever edition of the Conservation Summit accompanying the sixth edition of the Xposure International Photography Festival, Tariq Saeed Allay, Director General of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, confirmed that the primary goal of the image is to increase knowledge and experience different cultures, noting that the International Photography Festival always focuses on vital issues.

For Xposure 2022, the festival's second day was dedicated to environmental preservation and ocean conservation, with photographers from all over the world bringing their extensive experience to enrich the sessions. This was done in order to send a message from Xposure to various countries around the world about the importance of preserving the oceans and promoting environmental awareness.

Likewise, Alia Al Suwaidi, Director of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, noted that at the start of each edition of the International Photography Festival," we highlight tales, narratives, and challenges from across the world. We do not read these stories actually, but rather visualise them and follow their protagonists' journeys through images."
