Upon arrival, Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun and Borcard laid a wreath at the Martyrs' Monument, which is built up of 31 panels leaning on one another as a symbol of unity between the UAE government, people, and soldiers.
They then had a tour of Wahat Al Karama, where Sheikh Khalifa explained the various sections, which represent UAE heroes' courage and heroism, as well as the nation's noble values.
The tour ended with the French Army Chief of Staff writing in the visitor's notebook his deep respect and admiration for the courageous UAE martyrs.
