Sharjah24 – WAM: Dr Anwar Gargash, UAE President's Diplomatic Adviser, met with James Cleverly, UK Minister for the Middle East and North Africa, on Monday in the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office.

During the discussion, all parties addressed bilateral connections between the UAE and the United Kingdom, as well as strategies to further the strategic cooperation between the two friendly nations.

They also reviewed recent regional and international developments, particularly those concerning the region's stability and growth, emphasizing the necessity of fostering chances for peace and regional communication.

Dr Gargash expressed the UAE's gratitude for the UK's position on the Houthi terrorist assaults on civilian facilities in the UAE, and stated that the country will take appropriate actions to preserve its safety, security, and national sovereignty.

He also emphasized that the international community must take stern measures against the Houthis' terrorist acts, which endanger regional peace and security, as well as their terrorist activities against the Yemeni people.
