Sharjah 24: Vice Chairman of the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), Hanan Rashid Al Jarwan, praised the fourth edition of the Al Bataeh Folk Festival and its community, humanitarian, and cultural initiatives, as well as its support for Emirati productive families, handicrafts, and traditional industries in order to preserve Emirati folklore and ancestral professions.
During her visit, accompanied by a delegation of female members of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, she praised the efforts of the Al Bataeh Municipal Council, which is led by Mohammed Abdullah bin Halis Al Ketbi, the Al Bataeh Municipality, and the Higher Organizing Committee of the festival.
She commended the "Thank you Sultan" and "Thank you Jawaher" initiatives for their support of the "Warmth of Their Winter" campaign to aid Afghan refugees, expressing her delight at the coincidence of these efforts, which coincide with the Emirate of Sharjah's celebrations of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
