Sharjah24: Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi Centre has chosen “The Order of Zayed” to be a December piece as part of the centre project aiming to highlight on distinctive pieces every month from the collection of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
The selection of “The Order of Zayed” piece for the month coincides with the UAE's celebration on the 50th National Day, where the piece was awarded to Sharjah Ruler after being crowned with the President's Appreciation Award in the second annual session of 2012. His Highness received the award from His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE, at the Hospitality Palace in Al Mushrif, Abu Dhabi.
Sharjah Ruler was awarded with the " Order of Zayed" for his obvious contributions in the field of culture, arts and literature, and in appreciation of his achievements in UAE that contribute to attaining an advanced development and prosperity in the country.
His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, affirmed upon receiving “ The Order of Zayed” that this honouring is a mandate to continue the path with the wise leaders on the approach that the founder the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan drew.
