She stated that the agricultural sector is considered one of the sectors targeted in the United Arab Emirates with the necessary development and support in order to encourage national farmers to move towards the sustainable agricultural sector.
She told “Sharjah 24” that the Sharjah Foundation for Supporting Entrepreneurial Projects, "Ruwad", is looking to extend its operations and services to cover a wider range of projects, including agricultural activities that support current government trends. Today, the Council welcomed a number of government entities working in the domains of agriculture and food security.
One of the long-term goals of the "Ruwad Council" initiative, according to Sheikha Al Muallem, is to serve as a link between small and medium enterprises owners and government and semi-governmental agencies, as well as to achieve the foundation's goals of expanding its services at the local level within the Emirate of Sharjah.
